The battle for the Ninshu throne continues in "Naruto Shippuden" episode 467 and spoilers reveal that Ashura will have to make a decision involving the Divine Tree that is giving the Uchiha territory its bountiful produce.

According to Vine Report, a preview for the upcoming episode teases that Ashura will have to make a tough choice regarding the Divine Tree. While the sacred tree gives abundance to the land, it also causes some yet-to-be-explained curse among the people.

The Divine Tree has been a blessing to the Uchiha people for quite some time, but Movie News Guide reports that Kaguya's bad intentions are causing the tree to suck up all the energy of the land, thus causing turmoil in the region.

Though it has yet to be seen how Ashura will handle the situation, it seems that Ashura will have a difficult time making a choice. The trailer also does not give out enough information that would further explain the plot but it would be interesting to see how the Uchiha clan's forefather works the situation out.

Meanwhile, fans are waiting patiently for Hagoromo to finally sound off on whom he chooses to succeed the Ninshu. It has been a long wait for viewers but it was also worth watching the origin stories of both Naruto and Sasuke's ancestors.

Rumor has it that Hagoromo's sons will end up in a final and fierce battle that will see them exerting all of their efforts and showing off their most powerful attacks yet. There have been reports that one of them will pass away while some suggest that both will see their untimely demise.

"Naruto Shippuden" has been abundant with filler arcs that carry some interesting storylines. However, The Christian Times reports that some of the anime's followers believe the filler arcs aren't necessary and are just further delaying the much-anticipated bout between Naruto, Kaguya, and Sasuke.
