'Naruto Shippuden' episode 466 spoilers: Indra or Asura?

In episode 466 of "Naruto Shippuden," titled "The Tumultuous Journey," Hagoromo will choose between his sons, Indra and Asura, as Ninshu's successor. The choice is set to start the long war clans in the Naruto universe.
Growing up, Indra displayed early masteral of powers over his younger brother Asura. Despite the praises and his abilities, however, Indra remained humble and righteous. On the other hand, Asura was thought to be powerless when he was younger. He did not mind, however, as he has always been proud with the achievements and praises his old brother received.
Initially thinking that the Ninjutsu life was not meant for him, he spent time getting to know people around him, and as such, forming bonds. His powers eventually emerged and he became his brother's equal.
The villain Black Zetsu has manipulated Indra into thinking of himself as the most powerful and valuable creation. While initially resisting Black Zetsu's bad influence, their constant togetherness led to the awakening of his Sharingan.
Just like his mother, the Sharingan led him to think of his self as superior. In the anime's timeline, Indra is confident that he will be chosen as the Ninshu successor. Fans of the manga series are aware that Hagoromo will choose Asura over his older son.
Indra will not be able to accept his father's decision, which he will eventually defy as he will start training harder. He will be the first to develop the ninjutsu but will use the power for evil. Asura, on the other hand, will continue to fight on the righteous side, and though he develops the ninjutsu at a later time, he will continue to be equally powerful.
This event will lead to the long-standing fight between Indra's descendants known as the Uchiha clan and Asura's descendants known as the Senju clan.
New episodes of "Naruto Shippuden" are released every Thursday. However, no new episode aired this week; instead, "The Tumultuous Journey" airs on June 30. It will be followed by episode 467 titled "Ashura's Determination" on July 7.
