Many seasoned viewers of the ABC show "Mistresses" were wary about watching the series after the exit of its famous character Savi. Actress Alyssa Milano understandably exited the series after the show's production moved to Vancouver. But while one mistress left, another enigmatic one entered the show in the form of Calista.

In episode three, named "Odd Couples", fans will be in the thick of all the drama surrounding Karen, April, Joss and Calista. According to Spoilers Guide, Karen receives a house call from Alec after her medical procedure proves to be even more painful than he expected.

Meanwhile, Paul's past transgressions continue to haunt April. She continues to be wrought with problems when the insurance company demands that she pays back the insurance settlement. Surprisingly, she turns to Savi's old enemy for legal advice – Toni. It seems April's character is set to get a much meatier role in the show once the series progresses.

Marc also helps April through the crisis by revealing a secret of his own. The burning question is whether this secret will scare her away from the handsome hunk or bring them closer together?

Joss and Calista continue to bond as Savi's sister helps the enigmatic personality out of a business bind. Joss is also engaged in a distraction of her own as she struggles to come to terms with her feelings for her sister's ex-husband Harry.

Showrunners K.J. Steinberg and Rina Mimoun have revealed to TVLine that Joss' relationship with Calista will send her on a downward spiral. Steinberg said, "In a number of ways — mainly her (Calista's) influence on the way Joss lives her life and the way Joss spends her time. This relationship leads Joss to one of the most dangerous places we've seen the show go."

The producers also revealed that Calista is a complicated character. Meanwhile, "Scandal" star Brian White, who plays April's love interest, will make a shirtless appearance in episode four.

Episode three airs on Thursday, June 25 at ABC.
