The new installment of the Microsoft Surface Pro is expected to bring new features to the product line.
While there has yet to be any official news from Microsoft regarding the upcoming Surface Pro 5, many believe that the device will have improved performance and features.
One of the things that fans are hoping to see is the new resolution display. There were reports indicating that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will have a 2K resolution display, as well as a 4K Ultra HD display.
This will bring better resolution compared to the previous models of the product line. Aside from that, the upcoming product is going to have a better Surface Pen. It will have more functionality as it will have a rechargable battery in order to allow for wireless charging.
In addition, the pen will have a magnetic component that will easily attach it to the device.
The more expensive variant of the device will have 16 GB of RAM. It is said to run on Windows 10, along with the Redstone 2 update. It could also utilize the new AMD or Nvidia Pascal graphics processing unit. The battery life of the device could also be improved. With that, fans can expect an over-all better product compared to the previous models of the Microsoft Surface Pro. However, these details have yet to be revealed.
For its performance, there is a lot of anticipation for its improvement since it was hinted that the Microsoft Surface Pro will utilize Intel's new processor, which is the seventh generation Kaby Lake.
In addition, there are speculations that this is the reason for the product's late release. The device was supposed to release June of this year. However, it is believed that Intel's new processor pushed back the release to sometime next year.
The Surface Pro is said to be priced at $899, while the top-end variants could reach up to $1599.
