The Miami Heat are looking to have a 15-man roster entering the playoffs and inked to deals undrafted rookie point guard Briante Weber with veteran forward Dorell Wright.

Weber played collegiate ball for the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Rams. Unfortunately, his path to the National Basketball Association (NBA) did not come easy after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) during a game in January of 2015. Because of the injury, his chances of getting selected in the 2015 NBA Draft became hazy. But soon he joined the Heat's Developmental League (D-League) affliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Along with him playing for the Skyforce, the 23-year-old also had a brief stint with the Memphis Grizzlies this season.

During Weber's time with the Rams, he was recognized for his defense and was also known for his ability to steal the ball.

According to ESPN, the ex-Rams will be a part of the Heat's 2016 Summer League team.

To accomplish their goal of having a complete roster, the Heat also welcomed back Wright, who was their 19th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Wright played his first six NBA seasons for Miami and was part of the 2006 championship team. Aside from the Heat, the 30-year-old also played for the Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Portland Trail Blazers. He then continued his career in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) playing for the Beikong Fly Dragons, before re-signing with the Heat.

"I couldn't be more happy," Wright exclaimed about his comeback to the NBA, according to the Associated Press.

"I've seen this for a long time, me coming back at some point. I just didn't know when. It's awesome. I think it's going to be great," he added.

Because of the team's policy, there was no information disclosed regarding the contracts of Weber and Wright.
