The truth can be a very dangerous thing, as the S.H.I.E.L.D team has discovered in the previous episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season three. While the team struggles with they have discovered, May struggles with what she has learned about her ex-husband. Meanwhile, Simmons continues to work on the portal in the upcoming episode, "Chaos Theory."

Episode six of the show's third season saw the team searching for proof that Banks is Lash so they knock him out and take his blood. But it turns out that he's not an Inhuman. In their search, May and Morse track Strucker to Gideo Malick's apartment where they encounter members of Hydra. The dying Strucker then reveals to May that Garner is Lash. Unfortunately, Garner is also May's ex-husband.

May's dilemma continues in the upcoming episode. As a synopsis for the episode describes it, the team will uncover the truth about one of their biggest foes that will leave them reeling. Meanwhile, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) continues to help Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) recover data that could return them back to the other planet via the portal.

A trailer for the new episode starts with May apparently on a vacation with her ex-husband. It's quickly followed by scenes of Skye thanking Garner for his help and a voice-over stating that S.H.I.E.L.D's "most trusted adviser is also a dangerous monster." There are also glimpses of Lash transforming and someone describing the monster as transforming into a man. The teaser ends with May telling him that he can trust him, to which Garner responds by pointing a gun at her.

Aside from the problems created by Garner/ Lash, Simmons appears to still be struggling with her return to Earth and continues to work on finding a way to return to the other planet. Fitz helping her can work wonders but as this is one extensive project, it's safe to say that no one is up for space travel yet.

Episode seven will also see the return of Joey (Jaun Pablo Raba), as the Inhuman is hinted to have decided to use his powers for good.

Episode seven of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season 3 is set to air on Nov. 10 on ABC.
