'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D' season 3 spoilers: Actor Luke Mitchell shares more details about the 'Inhuman' Lincoln

Luke Mitchell, the actor who plays Lincoln Campbell, may have teased fans about what is in store for his character in the third season of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
The ending of season two was a bit hard for Lincoln; he was betrayed by his "Inhumans" family and was a bit hesitant to trust S.H.I.E.L.D. He did, however, trust Skye aka Daisy Johnson (played by Chloe Bennet).
Mitchell talked to Comicbook Resources during the ABC's Television Critics Association tour and it seems like in the next season of the show, Lincoln is going to be much different to what he was in the previous year.
"The Lincoln who's been introduced in Season Two is going to be a very different Lincoln in Season Three, just in terms of -- the audience is introduced to him in a hierarchy of Inhumans. And that's like his safety net, his backbone. Just, like, a version of him. And now that he's been betrayed by that, you're going to be introduced to him outside of that, and he needs to work out where he stands and where his allegiances lie," Mitchell told CBR.
The actor continued to tease about the character's past and hinted that there might be a revelation about Lincoln in the season three of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." However, he declined to reveal anything specific, so fans are left wondering whether the revelation would be about his past, present or future.
When asked about Lincoln's stand, whether he is an ally of S.H.I.E.L.D or an enemy, Mitchell gave out a vague answer and simply answered that he is in the gray area. As for his electrokinesis ability, he said that "I know that they're taking my character further and expanding him, just in a basic sense."
"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season three will premiere this coming Sept. 29, 2015.
