It's been almost a month since fans saw the last of "Married at First Sight" season 3, but somehow, they are still not over how things turned out. Sam Role and Neil Bowlus are among the couples who people thought had a chance of staying together after the social experiment. But it turned out that both didn't agree on their decision, with Role wanting to stay married while Bowlus asked for a divorce.

Despite their decision to end their marriage, both have remained friends and that only fueled speculations that at some point, they may rekindle their relationship. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Bowlus shared that he's in a good place right now with the decision he made.

"After six months of discussing the events of Married at First Sight with professionals, I am in a comfortable place, and I appreciate and value our friendship," he said.

"If I have learned one thing, it is yes, I will miss some things [from our time together]," Bowlus added.

An even more shocking twist to the "Married at First Sight" couples' story involves Vanessa Nelson and Tres Russell, who, at that time, decided to stay married after the experiment.

Nelson and Russell were the couple everyone was rooting for since day one. They were also the only ones who consummated their marriage. Anyone would expect that they'd make it work for a long time. But that was not the case.

As reported earlier by Ecumenical News, the couple appeared on the Reunion special of the show and revealed that they have decided to split. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Russell shared that he was committed to the marriage at that time, during the "Decision Day" episode. He had hoped that he and Nelson would make things work smoothly, but eventually, he realized that the feelings started to fade and there's little to no hope of saving their union.

Meanwhile, fans are anticipating the premiere of the next season of "Married at First Sight." No updates have been revealed yet, but The Ashley Reality Roundup reported late last year that by this time, filming is underway.
