Elizabeth's (Téa Leoni) son will choose the wrong timing to rebel in the upcoming episode of "Madam Secretary."

In the episode titled "Breakout Capacity," the synopsis (as per CarterMatt) reveals that the McCords' youngest child, Jason (Evan Roe), will test his parents' patience on Election Day.

While Elizabeth, Henry (Tim Daly) and the rest are waiting for news on whether Dalton (Keith Carradine) will win in the polls again, Jason will surprise everyone with his impassioned speech on who should be the next president. Unfortunately, he and his mother will not agree with his choice. Jason will reportedly pick Dalton's competitor. Is this the start of the teen's mutiny against his parents?

It has been a tough season for Jason so far. Previously, a stalker started to target his family. The incident escalated to the point that his parents had to send the FBI to his school when evidence pointed out the culprit was after him. The stalker turned out to be a minion of a jealous aide of Dalton who did not want Elizabeth to run as vice president. While Jason appeared to be doing okay after the scare, he must be feeling the backlash of being a McCord child. He never used to go against his parents' wishes in the past. Why will he choose to antagonize him now?

Meanwhile, the White House will be in a state of panic. Elizabeth's team will stumble on classified information that a peace deal with Iran is a wrong move. As per the promo, the Americans will find out that the Russians have been supplying the other country with materials used for create uranium bombs. Elizabeth and Russell (Željko Ivanek) will convince Dalton to take action the soonest time possible. In the clip, it looks like the United States will send men to bust the Russian operation. Regrettably, the teaser suggests that Elizabeth and the others will make a huge mistake. An angry man, who appears to be an envoy, is shown telling the Americans they will pay for what they did.
