Azrael's blade will be in the hands of a human, and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) will connect the weapon to a series of stabbing incidents in "Lucifer" season 2 episode 8.

The episode is titled "Trip to Stabby Town" wherein Chloe (Lauren German) investigates a series of murders around a local yoga studio. All the victims appear to have been violently stabbed, and Lucifer thinks the murderer has used Azrael's blade as the weapon. He will ask Ella's (Aimee Garcia) help in locating the sword.

Photos for the upcoming episode have also been released and they show Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) and Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) joining in on the action. It can be recalled that the blade was stolen by one of their brothers who came to earth to kill their mother. Some photos also suggest that Ella and Lucifer are getting closer, which could result to Chloe being jealous.

The trailer, on the other hand, shows their mother, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer), telling Lucifer "I want my family." He tells her he does not want to go to hell and Charlotte explains it is not where she wants to be either. Instead, she wants to go back to heaven but, as Lucifer looks up to what could be an opening portal to heaven, it is shown that he has grown to be attached to the people on earth.

The previous episode has shown him wanting to live like a normal person but, later on, he realized that being human does not have to mean trying to be someone he is not. He has also revealed himself to his psychiatrist friend, Linda (Rachael Harris), who he might go to again to ask for advice.

There have been speculations that Ella could possibly be Azrael. With the blade coming in sight, will the theory be proven or debunked? Find out on "Lucifer" season 2, which airs Mondays, 9 p.m., on FOX.
