Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) seems to have earned his son Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) trust in "Lucifer" season 2 so far. In episode 3, she asks to see her other son Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) who was shown losing his wings in the previous episode.

Amenadiel is slowly losing all the feathers in his wings and it could mean he is becoming mortal. While Charlotte was hesitant to see him, in the coming episode she will ask for him and it remains to be shown if her arrival has something to do with his condition. Will she be able to help him? Is she really someone the brothers should trust?

Helfer recently spoke with Empire Online about her character's dyamics with the other stars and she said, "From the first season and continuing in the second season, Lucifer definitely has some 'daddy issues.' So does Amenadiel, and they have 'mommy issues' as well, and now that mom is there, in front of them, they can't escape the issues as much."

Meanwhile, the synopsis for the episode, titled "Sin-Eater," states that Lucifer and Chloe (Lauren German) will investigate a serial killer who posts videos of crime on social media. Amenadiel will also seek the help of Linda (Rachel Harris) with the struggles he is going through.

Teaser for the upcoming episode shows Lucifer and Chloe arriving at the crime scene where the victim assumes a nailed on the cross position with an apple in his mouth. As they investigate the place, a phone rings and the unit is found inside the shirt of the victim. Charlotte is also seen in the bar cheerfully greeting Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) who is still visibly still mad at her and she shares her revenge plot to Linda.
