'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta' season 5 rumors: cast to be replaced?

Following the wrap of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" season five, recent rumors are now pointing to a possible internal issue that may see the show returning with a whole new cast - without any of the season five stars.
According to a report by All Hip Hop, the producers are supposedly planning to fire the entire cast including Stevie J, K. Michelle, and Joseline Hernandez. The outlet further says that rumors indicate a potential casting of new faces who are much bigger and more famous than the current cast.
The rumored firing of all the current stars allegedly happened during the recently-wrapped up filming of this season's reunion special. If this is true, fan favorites Joseline and Mimi Faust won't appear in the series anymore.
Rumor has it that the reason behind the cast revamp is due to the on and off-screen drama that the stars are involved in. Just during mid-season, Tommie Lee had to be removed after producers deemed that he was sending some death threats to his co-stars.
Tommie has always been controversial and reportedly has a thick history book of arrest records that includes felony, theft and also some battery charges.
Though the speculations are all over the internet and fans are getting bothered by the news, Faust has come out of her shell to slam the reports. Speaking with Atlanta's Radio TV Talk, Faust, a key member of the franchise, referred to the rumors as "a big lie."
While VH1 has not responded to the news, Faust said, "This stuff just makes me giggle. People have been calling me all day about it," implying that the reports aren't true and viewers should relax and wait for the reunion episodes to be aired.
Meanwhile, a source told The Daily Beast that Monami executives are also planning to add new cities to the franchise. However, there will be no spin-off for Atlanta, meaning the new towns to be added will most likely replace Atlanta altogether.
"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" airs every Monday on VH1.
