In a couple of weeks, "Longmire" will be airing its fifth season and as early as now, there are already rumors circling around the possible plot of the upcoming installment. The sad thing is, some are speculating that two major deaths will be depicted soon.

According to recent reports, fans will possibly see two of the most beloved characters in a dangerous position and worse, they might die. It has been rumored over the past weeks that Walt (Robert Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff) will finally tie the knot in "Longmire" season five.

This is something fans have been wanting to see, especially considering that the two will someday decide to go down that road. Since there are also rumors suggesting that season five will be the show's last, it's only reasonable that the lovebirds finally tie the knot. Also, they have been through a lot and have always stood up for each other. It's about time the writers give them a happier and more acceptable ending if ever season five will be the last installment.

However, there are speculations that the couple will meet an accident shortly after their wedding, which will cause their untimely demise. This is sad news for those who've been following their story from the beginning.

On the other hand, Lou Diamond Phillips, who plays Henry Standing Bear in "Longmire," posted on Twitter earlier in July, hinting that there will be another season for the show. "It is a beautiful (final) day at the Red Pony and continual soiree...until next season! Big thanks #nmfilm #Longmire," the actor wrote.

In other news, it is expected that "Longmire" season five will have longer episodes now that it's being run by Netflix. When it was still under the A&E network, there were several restrictions but many believe that with its move to Netflix, there will be more opportunities for the writers to work on better and much more enjoyable stories, which will then result to longer episodes.

"Longmire" season five will premiere on Sept. 23 on Netflix.
