The Legend of Korra (Nickelodeon) is one of the highest-rated animated shows as of the moment and spoilers about the next episode are popping up, especially as Season 3 is nearing its end.

Reports suggest that the last airbender, Tenzin, will die in the Legend of Korra Season 3 finale based on what has happened in the past episodes.

Voiced by actor J.K. Simmons, Tenzin lives on Air Temple Island with his wife, Pema, and their four children named Rohan, Ikki, Meelo, and Jinora. The family transferred to Northern Air Temple after airbending had resurfaced.

Tenzin is the first airbender to be born in over a hundred years, and was meticulously taught by his father on the traditions and customs of the Air Nomads.

Over the years, Tenzin has allied with Chief Sokka, and Tonraq, Korra's father to fight against Zaheer.

Zaheer has been causing too many troubles during Season 3, including saying to Tenzin that he wants Korra, and "surrendering" is the only option.

Tenzin, as viewers of the series have figured out, will not succumb to such threats. This has prompted Tenzin and Zaheer to face off in an one-on-one battle.

It is no surprise how Tenzin aims to protect Korra from Zaheer and the rest of the Red Lotus, even if it costs him his life.

Korra treats Tenzin not just as an airbending teacher, but as her steady source of life lessons and wisdom, and if ever Tenzin does die on the next episode, Korra will have to be extra brave to deal with such a huge loss.
