'Left 4 Dead 3' release date still unclear as faster zombies are rumored
While the news about "Left 4 Dead 3" has remained scant over the past few months, gamers have not given up hope that it will be announced soon. Now, all eyes have been focused on the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 gaming conference and fans of the game have been hoping that the much awaited sequel will be unveiled there.
More importantly, there has been very little official news about "Left 4 Dead 3" from the developers that were responsible for the previous games in the franchise. While this is not good news for the sequel, it has not deterred gamers who were impressed by the previous two games in the franchise, and they hope that the next version will be upcoming.
The last rumors about "Left 4 Dead 3," however, focused on job listings that were announced by the developer Turtle Rock Studios. These job listings, which were made public on the studio's website, created a flurry of excitement on the Internet when it was shown that it was for a new IP.
Many gamers who are hoping for "Left 4 Dead 3" to be announced soon latched onto the job listings and stated that they were somehow aligned with the development of the game. However, since then, no further rumors about the development of the game has surfaced.
Other industry analysts have also pointed out that the job listing indicates that a new game is in development and not necessarily "Left 4 Dead 3". Elsewhere on the internet, as the job listing was being discussed, unsubstantiated rumors indicated that the game will have faster zombies which will therefore be deadlier to human survivors.
Meanwhile, a section of fans who have been rooting for "Left 4 Dead 3" have started speculating that the game will be made by Valve in collaboration with Turtle Rock Studios. With very little solid information arriving about "Left 4 Dead 3" in the run-up to E3 this year, many are hoping that the event will see the game being revealed officially. If, however, no news about "Left 4 Dead 3" is revealed, it could mean that the franchise has been put in deep freeze until Valve or Turtle Rock Studios has time to create a new game.
