The Square Enix game, Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced in the E3 2013, but there is no confirmation on the release date yet. With the last game, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, released in October 2014, fans might have to wait for over a year for the next release because Kingdom Hearts 3 release date might not even be anytime in 2015! However, voice of Goofy, Bill Farmer, said that the game might release later this year.

Director Tetsuya Nomura has repeated that Final Fantasy XV is the priority of the moment, making any confirmation about KH 3 release date impossible. However, he has also revealed that a possible mid-year release has been pushed to a possible late-year release. Considering the uncertainty, it is quite possible that the launch will be further pushed back to a 2016 release. In reply to the various rumors about a 2015 release, Square Enix USA posted on Twitter:

"There was a Goof! The release date for @KINGDOMHEARTS III remains unannounced."

As of now, there is some news about the new Keyblades for the new game. At KH Insider, a user called Zephyr has reportedly recreated the weapon of Sora, the protagonist. The weapon recreated was Sora's weapon that was shown exclusively to the visitors of the California launch event of the KH 2.5 HD. Rumors say that Sora's Keyblade will now be able to take a canon form as well, apart from the gun form of course.

As far as any new additions to the list of Kingdom Hearts 3 characters is concerned, Square Enix desires to include Elsa, Darth Vader and Iron Man in the new game.

With respect to the inclusion of the Star Wars character, director Tai Yasue said to IGN: "I can't really go into any specifics or say anything about Star Wars, but when we come up with worlds we really want variety and to make sure that there's a lot of different types of worlds."

Rumors had also spread news about the inclusion of Snow White along with all the seven dwarfs, Peter Pan, Mulan, Tarzan and Simba. There even have been rumors about the addition of Captain Jack Sparrow! These rumors could not possibly amount to much, or could they?
