'Justice League' rumors: 2017 release date; Warner Bros DC film schedule through 2018 [LIST]

'Justice League' movie is confirmed for a May 2017 release date, with Zach Snyder taking the directorial helm once again.
During the last San Diego Comic-Con, Guillermo del Toro hinted that he is working on the screenplay of 'Justice League Dark' with Warner Bros.
"We're deep in the screenplay writing phase. We see eye to eye, Warners and DC and myself, on what the movie is. Literally I'm having fun with the characters I most loved in comics, because they're all monsters or supernatural. Demon, Deadman, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Constantine, the Fluoronic Man, many many others."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is expected to be the cornerstone of the Justice League movie franchise and Warner Bros-DC Entertainment studios.
This may be one of the reasons why the movie's play date was moved to March 25, 2016 from May 6, 2016.
They want to avoid a high-profile showdown and risk losing to Captain America 3.
The Avengers universe has already amassed billions in worldwide box office and made Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Hulk household names.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros has also unveiled list of titles that will be released form 2016 until 2018.

In April, Forbes reported that "Justice League" will begin filming once "Batman v Superman" is completed.
If the DC Comics superhero flicks will be on the same breath as the Avengers, there is a big possibility that Gal Gadot will star in her own Wonder Woman film, while Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa will get a solo Aquaman starrer.
Rumors also have it that there will be superhero cameos in future installments of DC Comics films.
