'Justice League' movie update: How will Superman return from the dead?

(Facebook/Batman v Superman)Various theories on how Superman will resurrect in "Justice League" float online.

It is a fact that, despite his death in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," Superman (Henry Cavill) is part of the upcoming "Justice League" movie. With this, the Internet is now filled with various speculations as to how the character will resurrect from the dead in the highly anticipated movie that gathers DC's biggest superheroes.

To the uninitiated, Superman died in his battle with Doomsday in the spring blockbuster "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." However, avid DC fans know too well that the character will come back from the dead eventually, just like how things go in the comic books. Furthermore, the last scene in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," wherein soil particles float from the grave of the Man of Steel, is also an indication that the superhero will resurrect.

However, whether Superman is dead or alive is not really the question. What leaves the fans wondering now is how the character will rise from the grave in "Justice League." One thing is almost certain, though: Superman will be wearing a black suit in "Justice League" as, first, Cavill posted a black-colored Superman suit on his Instagram account a few months ago, and, secondly, Superman wears a black suit as he returns from the dead in the comic books.

Die-hard Superman fans know too well that the black Superman suit is actually a Kryptonian recovery suit that aids in faster healing because it enables the wearer to absorb more sunlight. With this, some fans suspect that it is more likely for the Man of Steel to return from the dead through natural means via the process called "healing coma" inside the Kryptonian spaceship.

Nonetheless, there are also theories pointing to Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) traveling to other timeline/dimensions to recruit another version of Superman who will help the Justice League in their fight against Steppenwolf. Others even suspect that the Last Son of Krypton will be resurrected by no less than Steppenwolf or Darkseid and use him in their quest to conquer Earth.

Apparently, no one outside Warner Bros. and DC can really tell at this point in time on how Superman will return from the dead in "Justice League," and all suspicions can only be confirmed when the movie arrives in November next year.
