Jessa Duggar has taken a page out of her sister Jill Duggar's book and broke her own media silence. The "19 Kids and Counting" star has posted a photo on Instagram after weeks of being absent from social media.

The 22-year-old Jessa posted the first ultrasound of her baby on Instagram. The mother to be was obviously besotted already.

She captioned the photo "#BabySeewald makes a first appearance today!!! #19weeks3days Yay! Almost halfway! Your daddy and I love you soooo much! #FirstUltrasound."

The last time Jessa posted on Instagram was on May 19 when she wished her husband a happy birthday. Mrs. Ben Seewald also wrote a sweet note to go along with the photo, where she wrote about how blessed she was to have him. It was also the same day that reports started surfacing about her brother Josh's sexual misdeeds.

Since then Jessa and her 24-year-old sister Jill retreated from social media and refused to comment on the issue.  The two sisters finally broke their silence last June 5 when their interview with Fox News' Megyn Kelly was aired.

Jessa and Jill both admitted they are among Josh's victims. They also defended their brother and insisted that it was wrong to call him a pedophile or a child molester. They downplayed the incident and described it as just "mild, inappropriate touching" that happened when Josh was just a "young boy in puberty."

Two days after the interview, Jill posted a photo of her 2-month-old son on Instagram. She has shared more photos of her son on Twitter since then.

Their reemergence on social media indicate that the two sisters are trying to put the scandal behind them and are looking forward to better things, like a spinoff show of their own.

"19 Kids and Counting" has not been officially cancelled by TLC but advertisers have already pulled out of the show. A spinoff featuring Jessa, Jill and their husbands are being looked into by the network's producers.
