Rogelio (Jaime Camil) may choose to forgive Xo (Andrea Navedo) and start anew in the upcoming season of "Jane the Virgin."

Fans of the CW series cannot wait to see what will happen to Jane's (Gina Rodriguez) parents after the shocking revelations during the last installment. Because of Xo's refusal to become pregnant with Rogelio's baby, they parted ways. She then got involved with Esteban (Keller Wortham), and soon after, she discovered that she is expecting.

Executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman spoke about Xo's predicament in her previous interview with Entertainment Weekly. She hinted that it is going to be problematic for everyone, especially on the love triangle.

According to the EP, Xo does not want the child. She really wanted to return to Rogelio, knowing that Esteban would not be able to make her happy. Unfortunately, her pregnancy is bound to complicate things. Rogelio may not want to take her back. He is still hurting about the fact that she did not want to have another child with him and then promptly got pregnant by another man. Xo will have to work hard to make things right, but will she even want to?

Navedo recently spoke to Cosmopolitan, stating that Urman has been trying to talk to her about Xo's storyline in season 3. Although the actress said she still does not know what will happen to her character, she still believes that Xo and Rogelio belong together. Navedo cautioned though that it might take a while before the two find their way to each other.

When asked if she thinks the two are meant to be together, Navedo replies: "I think they are. First of all, Jaime [Camil] and I have amazing chemistry, so it's like we have to be together. That's my opinion. I don't know what everybody else is going to do. We'll see what Jennie decides. I think Xiomara and Rohelio are meant to be together. They may just have to be apart for a little while to kind of figure it out." 

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 will premiere on Monday, October 17 at 9 p.m. EST on the CW.
