InterContinental Hotels Group COO Robert Morse steps down

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced that Chief Operation Officer Robert "Bob" Morse will step down from his position on April 4, 2014. Senior Vice President of Operations for the Americas East Region and Canada, Lew Fader, will take over his position as Chief Operating Officer for the Americas region.

"With his laser-like focus on delivering results, Bob has been an incredible resource to me and to our business. He played key roles in developing our winning culture and building long-term partnerships with our owners, and we wish him the very best on his new adventure. IHG is known for its people and its leadership, and we will undoubtedly find a new COO who will lead us to even greater heights," IHG President for America said in a statement.

Morse joined IHG in 2012 from Noble Investment Group, a leading lodging and hospitality investment organization, where he served as managing principal and chief operating officer.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at IHG, working with such talented colleagues and passionate owners. IHG is known for its people, and it was definitely an honor to work alongside them to deliver the iconic brands that guests know and love," outgoing Chief Operating Officer for the Americas Bob Morse shared.
