'Ink Master' season 7 spoilers: Sarah Miller says goodbye

(spike.com)'Ink Master' season 7 episode 7 to feature Christian Buckingham

Sarah Miller was first eliminated then returned to "Ink Master" to battle for the $100,000 grand prize. However, it seems that she was not fated to win the title because she was finally eliminated from the show.

In an interview with Carter Matt, Miller said that she was "extremely shocked" by the decision and still can't understand what happened. She added, "As a portrait artist I could see my tattoo wasn't necessarily the worst. The technique I did on the tattoo didn't translate well when the picture was taken immediately after of the tattoo. I have a habit for tattooing for longevity not just to take a picture."

The tattoo artist also confided that she was not given any reasons why she was eliminated. She reasoned how she fared well with all the challenges given to her, as well as how she dominated the Sirens of Ink.

Despite her disappointment, Miller said that she enjoyed the show and how the challenges were conceptualized.

In the previous episode, the artists who were sent home came back to the show to compete against the remaining eight contestants. It can be remembered that Miller came back again while things were already heating up.

She was given the task to assign what kind of tattoo the artists will draw. For that challenge, she said that they had to ink a "surrealist female." The challenge was made more difficult because of the skin texture they had to put the ink on.

Each of the contestants faced difficulty also because of the design ideas their clients have. For example, Sausage had difficulty convincing his client to ink only the face of a mermaid instead of the whole body. Meanwhile, Cleen also got frustrated how to morph the woman and the wolf's face.

It was a rough round that even Sarah struggled with. In the end, although she was the one who gave the challenge, she did not escape the harsh criticisms from the judge.
