After months of speculations, it is said that Apple is finally unveiling the latest version of its iMac, along with other Mac products, later this month.

While Apple has yet to make an announcement on its alleged event, various sources claim that the Cupertino-based company is hosting an event on Oct. 24, where it will unveil several of its Mac devices. On the other hand, there are also reports claiming that Apple has moved the date of the event; from Oct. 24 to Oct. 27.

Rumors claiming on the change of the launch date for the Mac products stemmed from Apple's reported changing of its quarterly earnings call. Instead of holding it on Oct. 27, reports claim that the company has now moved it to Oct. 25 as it, allegedly, will have an event on the original date.

Although the exact date for the alleged launch of the Mac products is somewhat hazy at this point in time, Apple fans relish the fact that the company may, indeed, launch its newest line of products — soon.

Apart from the possibility of getting unveiled later this month, there are also various unconfirmed reports as to what the iMac 2016 will boast of. Allegedly, the upcoming device is equipped with game-changing features, such as the ultra HD 5K display that will be supported by a Polaris 10 or an AMD Radeon RX graphics processing unit (GPU). It is also said to pack Apple's latest macOS Sierra that will be supported by Intel's Skylake processor.

While it's true that the iMac is commonly employed by business owners, there are also rumors claiming that it will be ideal for immersive gaming experience, too, as, reportedly, the device will also come with AMD graphics add-on and will have the ability to support virtual reality (VR).

Meanwhile, apart from the iMac 2016, it is said that the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro will also be launched at the Apple event this month. Whether it's happening on the 24th or the 27th, Apple fans should brace themselves for the arrival of the said products.
