Hisoka might have finally met his match in Chrollo. With his back against the wall, will the magician finally be defeated in "Hunter x Hunter" 354?

The battle between Hisoka and his former boss, Chrollo Lucilfer, is one of the more engaging and intense fights that "Hunter x Hunter" fans have ever read. The two characters are undeniably powerful, but it seems that the former Spider gang leader has the upper hand.

Chapter 353 saw Chrollo countering each of Hisoka's attack. He was even able to control the referee and use him to attack his former colleague. As such, the end of the chapter saw Hisoka in a deplorable state.

It's not surprising that Chrollo would prove to be a match to Hisoka. After all, the enigmatic fighter has been described as both physically powerful and a good strategist. He's also quite the conniving and manipulative person.

It has also been said that because of Chrollo's Nen ability, he can steal the energy of his enemies through his book — the Bandit's Secret. The book is reportedly the source of his power and the one that caused the downfall of his enemies as they become worn out and unable to tap into their abilities. Without their being aware, his hapless victims are soon embroiled in a fight they can't win. 

A lot of fans are thinking that Chrollo might use the Bandit's Secrets against Hisoka in chapter 354 of "Hunter x Hunter" and that this might lead to the demise of the character. 

However, a lot of readers are convinced that Hisoka still has something up his sleeves. After all, this magician is known for being able to kill his enemies using cards. He also has his Bungee Gum. But his self-assuredness and confidence are what might ultimately win him the fight.
