When it comes to smartwatches, the Huawei Watch is one of the prettiest and this has helped it become very popular with customers. However, there is a new entrant in the space in the form of the Fitbit Blaze and it has managed to successfully take on the Apple Watch since it released a few weeks ago. Here is how the Huawei Watch compares to the Fitbit Blaze.

Design

When it comes to choices of design and looks, the Huawei Watch is ahead as it has a round body and looks and feels like a traditional watch. All models of the watch have steel cases and the ones in the basic lineup come with black, rose gold, and white plating. As for the models for women, they are named the Jewel and Elegant and come with leather straps and cases plated with rose gold. As for the main models in the Huawei Watch lineup, they come with straps that are made from leather but there are also steel versions that can be bought in colors that match the case of the watch. The Huawei Watch can also survive being dunked in 1 meter of water and has an IP67 certification.

As for the Fitbit Blaze, it has a square body that is much like that of the Apple Watch, but it has angular corners. The body of the device is made from steel and the device comes with standard elastomer straps, which can be swapped out with others easily. Leather and steel straps are also available for the device, and when it comes to waterproofing, the device can only be splashed and not dunked in water.

Both these smartwatches can be paired with Android and iOS devices and the Fitbit Blaze even has Windows phone compatibility.

Display

When it comes to display, the Fitbit Blaze has a version that measures 31.75 mm, and the resolution on it is around 240 x 180 pixels. As for the Huawei Watch, there is an AMOLED display on board. The display measures 1.4 inches and it has a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels, while its density is around 286 pixels per inch.

Hardware

There is a Snapdragon 400 chipset on the Huawei Watch. In terms of storage, there is 4 GB and RAM is 512 MB. Coming to the hardware on the Fitbit Blaze, there are no indications as to what it is.

Sensors

The Fitbit Blaze comes with a gyroscope, heart rate sensor, altimeter, and 3-axis accelerometer, while the Huawei Watch has a heart rate sensor, barometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope.

Price

Comparing price, the Fitbit Blaze has a starting price tag of $200, while the Huawei Watch starts off at $350.
