'How To Get Away With Murder' season 3 spoilers: Who's the father of Laurel's baby?
Probably one of the biggest questions in the world of TV series right now is: "Who is the real father of Laurel's (Karla Souza) baby?"
The hit crime drama TV series "How To Get Away With Murder" left fans with a major cliffhanger before it went on a mid-season break in November. In its ninth episode, fans saw a jaw-dropping death of one of the Keating 5, Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch).
Since the first episode up to the last for 2016, the major question was who was under the sheets, dead, outside Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) burning house and law office? There have been a lot of speculations but the show led fans to the painful discovery that Wes is dead.
Wes' death and the occurrences at the burning house left a string of questions. One of them, as mentioned above, is the identity of Laurel's baby daddy.
After two whole seasons of caring for each other in an unlabeled manner, Laurel and Wes suddenly decided to be together in season 3. However, it was a very short-lived romance as Wes died too soon.
It might be easy to point out that the dead Wes is the father of Laurel's baby, but knowing the show -- being grounded with lies, crimes and infidelity -- the thought can be misleading.
Of course, if fans are to doubt that Wes is the father, then another character is an easy option and it is no less than Laurel's ex and Annalise's "runner" Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber).
It can be recalled that a few episodes before Wes died, Frank ransacked Laurel's apartment and stayed there for a night. Though Laurel assured Wes that she and Frank did not sleep together, it is still a possibility, considering how Laurel was having a hard time moving on from the latter.
Another major question is: Who killed Wes? It is not a very "How To Get Away With Murder" thing for people to die from an accident so fans are simply not convinced that Wes died from the burning house.
While there are already many speculations, a report from Entertainment Weekly says that fans will get a detailed glimpse of how Wes died and most probably who killed him when the show returns with its 10th episode on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
