Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) and Connor (Jack Falahee) will have a huge fight over their differing views in the upcoming season of "How to Get Away With Murder."

In his recent interview with TVLine, showrunner Peter Nowalk talked about what is in store for the couple in the new installment. Clearly, Oliver is still determined to be included in the Keating Five, Annalise's (Viola Davis) handpicked law students who learn the trade under her guidance. Oliver's boyfriend, however, is against the idea. Connor knows exactly what has been happening with the group. He does not want Oliver to be involved in the messy affair. According to the executive producer, the premiere would reveal if Oliver is in or not.

"That's the question of the first episode ... Oliver really wants to be folded into the group. He has a naughty side and he sees the fun in the dark. But [boyfriend] Connor, as we've seen, is against it. Also, the question remains, does Annalise want him anywhere around her? So we're going to address that in the first episode," Nowalk said.

Ricamora's character was supposed to be killed off but because of the uproar the fans caused, Nowalk decided to keep him. In his previous interview, he said that Oliver has been given "a new lease on life" in season 3. Meeting Connor and realizing he should not let his condition (he is HIV-positive) dictate his mood, Oliver will be doing his best to bring excitement to his life. He wants to be part of Annalise's clique and put his impressive hacking skills to use. Will he succeed?

Incidentally, Oliver will also have to explain to Connor why he impersonated him and turned down Standford University's offer. Last time, Oliver saw his boyfriend's acceptance letter from the university. After deleting it, he told the law school's Dean of Admissions as Connor to never contact him again.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 will air on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
