'How to Get Away With Murder' Season 2: Aja Naomi King drops hints about who shot Annalise

The second season of 'How to Get Away with Murder' is only on its second episode, but the series did not hold any punches right off the bat. Not only was there an ample of amount of drama, but the revelation that was unveiled during Thursday night's run is a game changer.
Variety reports that it was confirmed during the episode that Annalise was shot by Wes, but he was not the only Keating Five student, who was in the vicinity when the professor faced the losing end of a gun. Apparently, Connor, Laurel and Michaela were also in the area. In the light of the new evidence, it seems like the embattled Wes is no longer the only suspect.
The cast and crew of the show have unfortunately been mum about who might have shot Annalise. Thankfully, at least one cast member have spoken about who she thinks the killer is. Just a few hours ago, Aja Naomi King, the actress who plays Michaela, sat down with TVLine to discuss details about the recently concluded episode. During the interview, King explained that because all four students were present, the gunman could really be any one of them.
"Why are we all there? With Connor holding onto her wounds, I was thinking, is this a trick to throw us off? Are we supposed to think that he's innocent, but maybe he's the one who did it and instantly regretted it? He looks so guilty leaning over her. I don't know! But we're all there so it could be any one of us, but right now, I'm more leaning toward Wes or Connor having done the deed," she told the publication.
There is no denying that the identity of Annalise' shooter is enough to keep audiences tuned in. However, this is not the only ace the show has in store for the current season. Just two days ago, Sherri Saum, actress famous for her role in the family drama series 'The Fosters,' have signed on to guest star in season 2. At present no details of her role has been revealed.
