'House of Cards' Season 3: The Underwood family, filming and making headlines in China

The 'House of Cards' Season 3 release date is expected in February, and showrunner Beau Willimon talks about the "unorthodox" marriage of Frank and Claire Underwood, Kevin Spacey's and Robin Wright's respective characters.
At the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Willimon spoke about the future relationship of the infamous couple in the Netflix-exclusive series.
While most films focus on failed relationships, the Underwood couple withstood trials and made their love stronger, and that's what makes their marriage intriguing and unconventional.
House of Cards Season 3, expected to air in February, 2015, will have more of the Underwood pairing.
The setting will be in Maryland, just as the previous seasons. It was quite challenging at first, when the state did not give permission, though this issue was officially solved on April 25.
When filming in Maryland, Kevin Spacey tweeted some scenes will be taken in Washington, D.C.
The Oscar-awardee actor was part of the "Clarence Darrow" stage production at London's 'The Old Vic' Theatre.
He recently returned to the US for House of Cards filming, the Season 2 finale of which brought his character Frank Underwood to the United States presidency.
Meanwhile, the American political TV drama has made headlines in China, after an article talked about how House of Cards show lots of proof of corruption in the US.
According to writer Zhao Lin, who is from an organization which does investigations about corruption in the country called the 'Institute of China Supervision,' corruption as a social illness is deeply present in the political, cultural and economic grounds of Western countries.
He suggested Westerners are unable to remove corruption and triggers its internationalization.
The political drama is popular in China, especially within the circle of the Chinese elite and government officials.
House of Cards Season 2 presented Beijing as an unseen but dangerous threat to the national security of the US.
