"Homeland" is now on its fifth season and this time, Carrie Mathison (played by Claire Danes) is going to Germany.

Unreality TV has reported that Carrie will now be working for a private security firm in "Homeland" season five. A new job for Carrie is not the only highlight to look forward to in the next season as it was revealed that she will also gain a new love interest while working in Berlin.

"We're shooting in Berlin for the whole fifth season, and Berlin and its history and its environment is also a character in the show, whereas Cape Town actually doubled for Pakistan and for the US," Mandy Patinkin told The Daily Star, who plays the role of CIA director Saul Berenson in the series. The actor is also hoping that the show will continue to travel the world in the coming seasons so they can tackle different cultures and histories.

Of course, being in a new location entails new obstacles and problems. Luckily, the director of the show, Lesli Linka Glatter, revealed some of the problems Carrie will face in Germany. The director shared to Indiewire, that the show will focus on "Putin. You know, cyberterrorism. ISIS, of course."

"Homeland" will return for its fifth season this coming fall and will contain 12-episodes, as reported by iDigital Times. However, the exact premiere date of the upcoming season has yet to be announced.

Four new cast members are also joining "Homeland's" season five. According to Unreality TV's report in early June, the new additions are Sebastian Koch, Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling and Sarah Sokolovic. It was mentioned that Alexander Fehling, who will portray Jonas Happich, is going to be Carrie's boyfriend while Sebastian Koch, a good German samaritan, is going to be her new boss.
