'Hawaii Five-O' season 7 spoilers: Bickering, arguments, bond between Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams to heighten

(Facebook/Hawaii Five O)As the bond between Steve Mcgarrett and Danny Williams become stronger in "Hawaii Five O's" season 7, so will be their bickering.

Fans of the "Hawaii Five-O" can expect that the bond between Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny Williams (Scott Caan) will become even stronger once the police procedural series returns for its season 7 later this year.

It can be recalled that, in the season 6 finale episode of "Hawaii Five-O," Steve McGarrett sustained serious injuries as his liver was hit by a bullet after the plane that he and Danny Williams were riding was shut down.

The tandem was in an undercover mission that aimed at pinning down the drug lord Dae Wan (Sung Kang).

While the mission was a success, it was later found out that Steve McGarrett was in a life-threatening situation and needed a new liver within 24 hours, in order for him to survive. Upon finding out that he and Steve McGarreth have the same blood type, Danny Williams took it upon himself to donate his liver, which he eventually did.

Despite having saved his friend's life, though, nothing much would change between the two in "Hawaii Five-O" season 7, at least, as far as their constant argument is concerned. In fact, fans of the series can even expect more comedy because of the life-saving act of Danny Williams.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "Hawaii Five-O" executive producer Peter Lenkov said that Danny William's donation of his liver will not only strengthen the bond between the two characters but will also serve as another bone of contention between the two of them.

"I love the idea that McGarrett is going to abuse that organ, because McGarrett is a person who abuses himself and puts his life in danger all the time. Danny is going to resent the fact that he saved his life because of that. These guys are blood brothers, but now literally they are," Lenkov said.

"Hawaii Five-O" is expected to return to CBS this fall.
