'Hawaii Five-O' season 7 premiere date: Women power display as actresses Claire Forlani and Elisabeth Rohm join
The seventh season of the series "Hawaii Five-O" will feature new enemies, returning cast members, and new faces. Among the two new faces viewers will meet are the characters to be portrayed by actresses Claire Forlani and Elisabeth Rohm.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Forlani who also starred in action-filled series "CSI: New York" and "NCIS: Los Angeles," has been tapped to play a recurring role in the upcoming season. The actress will star as Alicia Brown, a retired criminal profiler who will help the agents of "Hawaii Five-O" to track a serial killer. She will work with Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) in the case.
Executive producer Peter Lenkov said, "Alicia and McGarrett have a profound respect for each other and what they have accomplished professionally. Her insight and expertise as a profiler will be paramount for Five-O to track down this killer menacing the Island for the who visit and those who call it their home."
Forlani will appear as early as the second episode of season 7.
Rohm, on the other hand, will join the show as a guest star. She will play a police psychologist named Dr. Margaret Gray. McGarrett and Alicia will sought her help to hunt down the serial killer. Since Forlani will guest in more than one episode, it is not known yet if Dr. Gray would be the key to identifying the serial killer.
Other actors who are set to make an appearance on the show are actress Rosalind Chao, who will play the new governor of Hawaii, and actor Faran Tahir, who will play the role of a wealthy Egyptian-born businessman.
Filming for the seventh season is already underway. "Hawaii Five-O" season 7 will premiere on Sept. 23, 9 p.m. at CBS.
