'Hawaii Five-O' season 6: Kono and Adam honeymoon becomes a nightmare when they're kidnapped

"Hawaii Five-O's" fifth season ended on a happy note as Adam and Kono finally got married. But it seems that the brief respite from the bad guys is over as they are captured and tortured during their honeymoon.
The popular police drama will reportedly start season six on high alert, just a few hours after attending Kono's (Grace Park) wedding. According to a synopsis released by CBS, the "Five-O" team races to track a killer who is looking for a centuries old pirate treasure. Meanwhile, Grace and Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) are kidnapped by Chin's brother-in-law, Gabriel Waincroft (Christopher Sean).
Touted as next season's main bad guy, Gabriel was last seen pointing a gun at Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim) during season five's finale. But what Gabriel hopes to achieve by torturing the newlyweds is still a big mystery.
Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) was also thrown in an emotional loop last time when his erstwhile love interest Catherine (Michelle Borth) returned and Danno (Scott Caan) is said to be concerned about how this will affect the team's leader. But showrunner, Peter Lenkov, assures fans that a story arc in the first few episodes of season six will resolve this situation.
However, there is another woman in McGarrett's life who is set to return as well. It has been confirmed that McGarett's aunt, Deb (Carol Burnett), will be making an appearance next season. The 82-year-old actress was introduced during the show's fourth season when she visited McGarrett to tell him she has cancer. She guest starred again in the fifth season and this time around, she brought happier news. Her cancer was in remission and she was engaged to an ex-mob lawyer.
Season six might also be good for Chin's love life as Lenkov shared that the widower will be meeting someone who is a potential love interest.
The team is set to have more excitement when "Hawaii Five-0" returns on Sept. 25.
