"Hammer Storm" is a game expansion set to come this month to "Halo 5: Guardians." It will feature a new Arena map, game modes, brand new weapons, additional Reqs, and other game updates. Developer 343 confirmed the expansion on a blog post published on Jan. 12.

The new game modes include Assault and Grifball. Players will also get the option to create new game types, such as the Oddball and Ricochet. Fiesta Slayer is expected to return as well.

Additionally, the upcoming updates will provide players new armor sets, namely Decimator and Marauder, as well as the Gravity Hammer melee weapon.

Aside from these added game features, the future updates will also bring in bug fixes that should clear out player warping and desync problems. Moreover, user interface (UI) improvements are also in the works within the updates.

343 will also be giving players 60 color choices for their armors and emblems. And there are no restrictions on how you pick the colors. "You can make any 2 of them the same color and get a completely different looking emblem shape," wrote the developer.

On the other hand, Rocket League is planned to be released on Xbox One on Feb. 17. There will also be two Xbox One-exclusive rides — the Warthog and the Armadillo from Gears of Wars.

The first Torque gameplay and other details about "Hammer Storm" will be revealed during the live streaming on Feb. 26.

"Hammer Storm" will be the fourth free expansion for "Halo 5:Guardians" since its launch in October last year. The first one titled "Battle of Shadow and Light" was released in November 2015. The other two are "The Cartographer's Gift" released in December 2015 and "Infinity's Armory that recently came out last month.

The upcoming expansion may not be the last one, though, as 343 will continue to provide further free updates until June 2016, as reported by Gamespot.
