(Rockstar Games)Players will earn Double GTA$ and RP during Time Trial challenges.

"GTA Online" is currently in the midst of Time Trials Week — a new event where players try to beat par times using the fastest and slickest cars available. Those lucky enough to do so will get to earn exciting rewards.

During Time Trials Week, players get to compete in the "GTA Online" Freemode Time Trials. Known to be one of the toughest solo challenges in the game, those who are able to beat the par time will earn completion rewards in the form of Double GTA$ and RP bonuses. Players will also have 24 hours to complete each Time Trial.

Time Trials Week started last May 6, Friday and will be available until May 12, Thursday. The remaining schedule is as follows: the Sawmill Time Trial for May 10, the Maze Bank Arena Time Trial for May 11, and the End to End Time trial for May 12.

Rockstar Games is offering discounted vehicles from the Legendary Motorsport and the Los Santos Customs to help players beat par times. Having blazing fast vehicles will help players in races, especially since every second counts.

The T20, the Osiris, and Zentorno sports cars will be available to purchase at 50 percent off. Those who prefer two-wheel racing can also avail of the Hakuchou and Akuma bikes at 50 percent off.

Select vehicle mods are also available to purchase with a 30 percent discount. Road-worthy wheels, engine mods, brakes, and suspension can boost any vehicle immensely. On the other hand, stock and chrome rims give the vehicle added style.

For the entire week, players will also get free service for Cops Turn Blind Eye, Remove Wanted Level, and Mechanic Service. Players can also earn Double RP on the following playlists — Land Races, Touch Base, On the Great Ocean Highway, and Turn the Tide. To start racing, just locate the Rockstar Playlists from the "GTA Online" menu.

"GTA Online" is available to play for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the Microsoft Windows PC.
