'Grimm' season 6 spoilers: Renard is not going down without Nick
It is time for the much-anticipated fight between Nick (David Giuntoli) and Renard (Sasha Roiz) in the upcoming season of "Grimm."
As per Parent Herald, the final installment of the NBC series will feature the bloody battle for love and supremacy between the Grimm and the power-hungry mayor of the city. For Nick, he must defeat Renard, not only to eliminate the big threat in Portland but also to win back Adalind (Claire Coffee). What he wants most of all is for their family to be together once again. Renard, on the other hand, is also expected to give his all in the battle. Aside from taking down the Grimm, he must see to it that Adalind will not go anywhere and stays by his side.
Although Nick is very much focused on his looming fight against Renard, he must not forget Diana (Hannah R. Loyd). Renard and Adalind's daughter is a mystery, as she has proven during the last installment. She can actually kill people without even touching them. Because Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) hurt her mother, Diana ended his life without a second thought. She then targeted Nick, but her father intervened. Renard wanted Nick's downfall to be on his hands. Diana will be a good back-up though, in case he fails in his quest.
Giuntoli has previously revealed that Renard will do everything to win. Nick, however, is equally prepared to fight him.
"Renard is going to be the big bad in Season 6. We'll focus more on him and his rise to power and what that means. I don't know this for absolute sure, but that's the word on the street. ... Renard is in love with himself and with power, so when he slays Bonaparte Nick isn't going to give him the benefit of the doubt," Guintoli shared via TV Insider.
"Grimm" season 6 will return on Jan. 6, 2017 on NBC.
