Following the epic finale of "Grimm" season five, there are already rumors about the plot in the upcoming episodes, including talk that suggests Nick and Adalind will reunite and make things work in the new season.

According to Parent Herald, Adalind (Claire Coffee) and Nick's (David Giuntoli) relationship was a hit among viewers in the previous installment. Fans were able to see more of the connection between the two, and some of the pair's link with Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch).

Though fans of the two have been demanding for faster progress in the couple's romance, Renard (Sasha Roiz) entered the picture and even used Diana (Hannah R. Loyd), their daughter, as bait to get Adalind into the mess she's in.

However, recent reports suggest that Nick and Adalind may finally get together again with their child and probably even Diana.

In an interview with Parade in May, Coffee spoke of her character's relationship with Nick and what her expectations are for the two in the near future.

"I think what Adalind would like is to be back with Nick, be happy, and be able to establish a family with him. I think Adalind firmly believes that Nick and company are on the right side, and she wants to be, too," Coffee said.

On the other hand, Giuntoli has other thoughts about Adalind as he said in an interview with TV Insider that he believes Adalind is prioritizing her children at the moment. "Her maternal concerns are everything, and they would trump anything she might to do protect Nick."

Though "Grimm" has yet to unveil what's next for the couple, many also speculate that Adalind and Nick may end up together as a team fighting evil. Though this may not potentially happen during the early episodes of season six, a twist could happen in the middle that would bring the lovebirds closer to each other than ever.

"Grimm" season six is slated to premiere in Fall 2016.
