The upcoming episode of "Grimm" season 5 will showcase Nick's adventures in Germany.

Titled "Into the Schwartzwald," the episode will show Nick and Monroe travelling around Germany. It was revealed that the two will be in search for old artifacts. One of the places they will traverse to is an old church, where they will find some interesting things.

With that, the teaser for the episode shows that Nick and Monroe could finally solve one of their most-anticipated mysteries. There were hints explaining that they will find some answers regarding the keys. The executive producer of the series, Jim Kouf, recently talked to Yahoo! TV about their decision to bring Monroe and Nick to Germany.

He said, "We knew we wanted to send Nick and Monroe out of the country on this quest together. And that brought it around full circle. We had been dying to go to Germany from the get go."

In the same interview, another executive producer of the series, David Greenwalt, explained that they chose Nick and Monroe because "they were our original two guys."

However, they are expected to face some challenges along the way. A scene from the trailer shows Nick and Monroe with some artifacts. However, they are also seen trying to escape the church in order to hide in the woods. With that, fans can expect that the upcoming episode will conclude their quest around Germany.

Meanwhile, the trailer also suggests an important plotline for Adalind. It teases the possibility of Adalind getting her Hexenbiest powers back once again. The scene shows Adalind scared while a man screams due to his bent fingers.

This suggests that she could have used her telekinesis to do so. However, there has yet to be any confirmation regarding the matter. 

"Grimm" season 5 is expected to air on NBC this Mar. 11.
