'Grimm' season 5 spoilers: Nick and Monroe on a perilous adventure; new character revealed

Monroe and the team continue in their quest to find the remaining keys that will bring them to a mysterious treasure.

The team already has five keys in their possession and they need to find two more to complete the set. In episode 11 of "Grimm" season 5, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) make a church visit that leads them to the clues found on the map that they are using in finding the keys, Movie News Guide reports.

The quest will bring a lot of perils, not only to Nick and Monroe, but also to the rest of the team.

The next episode will also show the Black Claws going head-to-head with the Grimms and bringing destruction to the city. The synopsis also hints that Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) could become a potential villain to the Grimms. 

In an interview on TV Guide, Claire Coffee, who portrays Adalind in the series, revealed some information regarding Eve, saying that her character is afraid of Eve and how the latter's return could impact her relationship with Nick. 

Coffee added that even though Eve could change for the better in the future, she is still uncomfortable with the fact that the latter has come back into Nick's life.

Meanwhile, "Grimm" will also introduce a new character to the show, according to Deadline. A report from the news outlet revealed that Shaun Toub will join the cast and will take on the role of Bonaparte, who is described as a passionate and powerful character.

In an interview in Access Hollywood, Giuntoli, talked about Bonaparte, saying that he is Monroe's uncle from Bavaria. He went on to say, "We have a wonderful actor [playing him. It's very Monroe-ian. You can tell [there are] some genetics going on there and we find via this uncle some new Grimm-o-rabilia."

"Grimm" is shown on NBC every Friday at 9 p.m. EST.
