"Grimm" waded into the wild world of wrestling last week and placed its own little twist to it. Now Nick and Hank are faced with the Wesen virus that might have been the inspiration behind "The Howling" and other classic werewolf stories.

Every "Grimm" fan knows that Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) is the exception as far as blutbaden go, but will he be able to take down one of his kind in order to protect his friends? That seems to be the crucial question in episode 14. A synopsis for the episode, fittingly titled "Lycanthropia," reveals that "Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) stumble upon a terrifying Wesen disease that may be the inspiration for the modern-day werewolf myth." Unfortunately, they discover this after a brutal attack leaves a victim dead. Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) is offered a chance to get back her daughter Diana while Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) unearths "a surprising revelation."

The trailer for the upcoming episode shows the struggle that Monroe will soon be facing. As the opening scene unfolds, a bloody body is shown in the woods, with Nick, Hank, Rosalee (Bree Turner), and Monroe standing over it. As Nick examines the victim's wallet, Monroe mentions that it was a full moon last night. He suggests they might be dealing with a lycanthrope and Hank clarifies if they're talking about werewolves. A wolf-like creature is then seen attacking someone. The two detectives arrive at the scene with their guns pulled out. The trailer wraps up with Monroe pointing Nick's crossbow at the Wesen and Nick telling him to bring the creature down. The scene ends with a shot of a werewolf/blutbad's face as the trailer asks if Monroe can "pull the trigger on his own kind."

Monroe isn't the only one facing a dilemma. Adalind is also struggling with what to do now that she's turning into a hexenbeist again. She has so far kept it from Nick, but how long can she keep this a secret? There's also the possibility that Black Claw knows where Diana is and will be using the young royal as leverage against her and Renard (Sasha Roiz).

"Grimm" is certainly not lacking in drama this season, but hopefully the remaining episodes will clear things up.

Episode 14 of "Grimm" season 5 is set to air on March 25 on NBC.
