'Gotham' season 2 news: Erin Richards talks about Barbara Kean

The second season of 'Gotham' is already eight episodes in with the most recent broadcast, "Tonight's the Night," airing mere hours ago. With only two more episodes before the finale, the show is definately ramping up the excitement and the drama and according to one cast member, the series would only get crazier from here on out.
Two days ago, Erin Richards, the actress who plays the Barbara Kean, sat down with TV Line to discuss what is in store for what is left of the season. During the interview, she revealed that while she hasn't seen the most latest episode based on her epxerience filming, she is certain that the run is nothing short of crazy. She also revealed that her character letting loose is one of the most fun things she got to experience in the production of the series.
"It's bananas! B-a-n-a-n-a-s!I haven't watched the full episode but I ADR'd some of the lines, so I got a glimpse of how bananas it is. And I mean, it is just 'Babs gone wild.' She has free reign in Gotham for the whole episode, so it was really, really fun for me to do. And I've heard that it looks really great, so I'm very excited to see it."
In the same interview, Richards explained the very interesting relationship her character is developing with Tigress a.k.a. Tabitha. According to Richards, what they have going on is probably on the less serious side and if anything, the two women are seeking out each other as a form of release. She was quick to clarify however that should Tabitha want to impart her skills to Barbara, she is sure her character would be a willing pupil.
"It's probably, yeah, like a release. But also there's intrigue there, because Tabitha's a really strong woman with a lot of skill that Barbara could adopt.
The second season of "Gotham" airs every Monday on Fox.
