While Google Nexus 7 is expected to clash with the anticipated iPad Pro 2, Samsung entered the scene to boast their own Galaxy Tab S3 with better specs than before. Now, enthusiasts are wondering which between Nexus and Galaxy is better as far as their specs are concerned.

Tech analysts have been expecting a grand comeback of Google Nexus with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage. These specs have been compared with Samsung's Galaxy Tab S3, which graced the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 with almost the same type of offerings.

(ASUS)The second generation Google Nexus 7 (as shown above) was launched in 2013 and a new generation is being rumored to be out soon.

Tab S3 is said to be equipped with quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, a 32 GB of internal memory, with a microSD slot expansion that can support up to 256 GB. As compared to the Nexus 7 2017, its specs under the hood are comparable with the South Korean-based device.

As for their respective cameras, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is also installed with a fingerprint scanner and a whopping 6,000 mAh battery with fast-charging technology. Details about the Google Nexus 7 2017's camera is still unreleased, but it is said to be almost similar to what its competitor has to offer.

Both devices are also going to have better displays. The Google Nexus 7 2017 is believed to have a 7-inch display, coupled with 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution. If this detail is assumed true, then the Galaxy tab S3 may have won in the particular department as it has a bigger 9.7-inch size display, with an AMOLED screen and a 1,536 x 2,048 screen resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is already available for pre-order and will start shipping on March 24. Google Nexus 7 2017 is still being kept under wraps, but some say that it will be released once Tab S3 becomes available on shelves.
