Game of Thrones season 5 spoilers: Obara Sand out for blood after Oberyn's death, Arya enters the Temple of the Many-Faced God
Hit fantasy-drama series by HBO, "Game Of Thrones" is all set to make a comeback on April 12, 2015 with its brand-new season five. Teasers and spoilers doing the rounds over the Internet promise this season to have new characters, shocking deaths and an even more enticing story-line to ensure fans are hooked.
International Business Times reports that Obara Sand, whose role will be played by New Zealand actress Keisha Castle-Hughes, is all set to make an appearance in the future episodes. She and her two sisters, all of whom are the illegitimate daughters of Oberyn Martell, are out to seek vengeance for their father's death. Fans may remember his ghastly demise last season by The Mountain. Obara, Nymeria and Tyene are strong-willed female characters that will work together rather than independently. In the past, strong female characters such as Arya Stark, Daenerys and Brienne of Tarth have worked independently, so it will be interesting to see three strong female characters working together.
Obara is deadly and sees herself as a "warrior monk". She describes her character in detail saying "Some of her favorite pastimes are: murdering people with her spear, and meditating, and picking on her younger sisters", according to WetPaint. The actress underwent a lot of training to prepare herself for the role, including learning the martial arts, Wushu.
Moreover, Game Of Thrones addicts will see a new kingdom, the Kingdom of Dorne, where people are relaxed, tanned and happy. The desert kingdom is markedly different from Westeros because there is ample sunshine and more Vitamin D levels among people.
A new teaser video reveals Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) entering the Temple of the Many-Faced God which is also the headquarters of the Faceless Men. She is initiated into the brotherhood and meets Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) who previously gave her an iron coin. Maisie Williams had earlier teased fans by saying this season will be "the end of Arya, as far as anyone knows."
