Disney's mega-hit "Frozen" is one of the world's highest-grossing animated films with a box-office gross of over $1.2 billion. With that kind of success, it isn't at all surprising that its sequel, "Frozen 2," has already been given the green light.

While fans of the film are greatly anticipating its sequel, official movie details for "Frozen 2" are scant. Apart from the return of characters Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf, not much else has been confirmed.

Due to the high demand for news and updates, the Internet has become the breeding ground for the latest movie rumors and speculations.

The latest rumor circulating is that Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach may have just landed a role in Disney's upcoming animated sequel.

The beauty queen from the Philippines has been the subject of intense media coverage these past few weeks. She made headlines after host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner instead of her actual first runner-up placement. Now, the 26-year-old Miss Universe is rumored to make an appearance on "Frozen 2."

Last Dec. 23, Disney artist Jimmy Mulligan posted a Disney-inspired cartoon portrait of Wurtzbach on his Twitter account. "My Disney-fication of Miss @PiaWurtzbach," he captioned the photo. Mulligan's illustration shows Wurtzbach closely resembling Queen Elsa.

Since then, the drawing has gone viral and Wurtzbach is now being linked to "Frozen 2." Wurtzbach even reposted the image on her official Instagram page. The image was accompanied by a short message. "If I was from 'Frozen'.. (you guys know how big of a Disney fan I am)," she said.

Unfortunately, Disney has not released an official statement regarding the casting of Wurtzbach. Thus, it is advised that readers take the latest "Frozen 2" news with a grain of salt.
