'Frozen 2' character rumors: Tarzan is Elsa's brother and Prince Hans might return

"Frozen 2" isn't coming out any time soon, but fans keep speculating and throwing around theories about the award-winning Disney film. One of the theories suggests that Elsa and Anna have a brother and his name is Tarzan. Yes, that's right, this was answered in an AMA reddit where Chris Buck, the director of the film, said:

"They didn't die on the boat [Elsa and Anna's Parents]. They got washed up on shore in a jungle island. The queen gave birth to a baby boy. They build a tree house. The get eaten by a leopard."

That sole statement fired the fans up and boarded the theory that Tarzan's parents are Elsa and Anna's parents, too. Does this mean Tarzan has powers? Perhaps the plot of "Frozen 2" will uncover a deeper history in the family and the origins of Elsa's powers.

The director then debunked the theory of Tarzan and Elsa's parents in an interview with MTV. He explained that this is the magic of Disney, wherein all characters may be interconnected one way or the other depending on the fans.

"I say, whatever people want to believe, go for it. If you want to tie them all together, then do it. That's the spirit of Disney."

This means "Frozen 2" will not have Tarzan in it.

Another potential plot for the movie comes from a post from Cross Map where they mentioned the possibility of bringing back Prince Hans and making him a love interest of Elsa. This may not be a strong path to follow up from the story, mainly because it will take a whole lot more to convince the fans that Prince Hans is already a changed man. Perhaps the sequel would revolve around the theme of forgiveness unlike the first that revolved around love. Some also suggest that the story will introduce another villain that will terrorize the land of Arendelle and some also suggest that it will be a woman.

As long as no official announcement or teaser trailer has been released, fans of the film will just settle and debate among themselves in speculating and creating fan theories about the plot, character, and theme of "Frozen 2."

"Frozen 2" is planned to be released sometime in 2017.
