Rumors about "Frozen 2" being linked to "Tarzan" have also been going around for quite some time now. It was said that Tarzan could be the Arendelle sisters' long-lost brother. However, a new rumor emerged stating that Tarzan will be Elsa's new love interest instead.

There have also been speculations that Prince Hans, the original movie's bad guy, will be reformed and will come back for the sequel. He was even rumored to end up winning the heart of the queen.

There are just a lot rumors surrounding "Frozen 2" that involves romance, mainly for Elsa. Twitter wars have been ongoing to make a petition to Disney of how Elsa should be portrayed in the next movie. According to GameNGuide, there are now three groups who are advising Disney on how Elsa should be developed as a character.

Previously, there were those who were pushing for the Queen to be a lesbian character to represent the LGBT community. On the other hand, there were also people who believe that Elsa should have a boyfriend. The conservatives reportedly believed that portraying her as a lesbian would supposedly be harmful for kids.

Now, a third group has emerged, believing that Elsa should be single. "Frozen" is one of the few Disney fairy tales that showed how life doesn't always revolve around romance. The group is pushing for a single and independent Elsa, stating in the petition that "Elsa doesn't need a man to live 'happily ever after' but she doesn't need a woman to live 'happily ever after' either."

Meanwhile, Elsa has also been rumored to be the next big bad in the sequel. All these rumors surrounding the Queen only show how much of a favorite character she is.

A release date for "Frozen 2" has not been announced but the movie is expected to be released sometime in 2018.
