'Forza Motorsport 6: Apex' PC release date news: Arriving spring 2016?
There has been a dearth of racing games on the PC but all this could change soon with the arrival of "Forza Motorsport." The announcement concerning the arrival of the new game was made by Microsoft recently and as expected, it was met with a lot of enthusiasm from gamers.
Importantly, the announcement first popped up on the "Forza Motorsport" website and it was outlined there how the game, which is titled "Forza Motorsport 6: Apex," will be available for free. As for the exact date of its arrival, no information was provided but Microsoft made it clear that it would land sometime in the spring and would be freely available for those interested in playing it. In the announcement, Microsoft also made it clear that the game would allow PC gamers who use Windows 10 to join other racing game enthusiasts who are using the game on the Xbox One console.
As for the upcoming game, it is going to be a "distilled" version of "Forza Motorsport 6" and it will perform the best on PCs that have more power. The game will be making use of DirectX 12 to bring top rung visual effects. Also, the upcoming game "Forza Motorsport 6: Apex" will be able to deliver a resolution of up to 4K on the PC if gamers have sufficiently powerful hardware onboard their machines.
Engadget, however, states that gamers should be aware that the upcoming "Forza Motorsport 6: Apex" will not be a carbon copy of the main game, which was released for the Xbox One. In fact, it will only have 63 cars and six locations, whereas the main "Forza Motorsport 6" has 460 cars and 26 locations to choose from. As for Drivatars, they are expected to be seeded from the current game "FM6" to the "Forza Motorsport 6: Apex."
Finally, in the future, all "Forza Motorsport" games will be created for both the Xbox One and PC if the "Forza Motorsport 6: Apex" works out well.
