The hit horror franchise created by Scott Cawthon became attractive to a lot of players when it first came out mainly because its gameplay was quite unique at the time. It is a point-and-click survival horror video game that centrally happens in a pizza restaurant known as Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The video game was first released on Aug. 8, 2014. On Aug. 20 of the same year, the game was released through Steam after it received an approval from the service's crowdsourcing platform.
The gameplay for "Five Nights at Freddy's" is actually very simple. Players need to survive their shift that runs from midnight to six in the morning without getting attacked by the five robotic animals that live in the same location. A player is assigned in an office to monitor the security cameras in order to determine the location of the robots while the rest of the five characters move around following distinct patterns.
Meanwhile, Cawthon revealed in Steam Community that there are delays and roadblocks to the "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie, prompting them to go back to square one. Cawthon wrote, "I'm also going to be involved with the movie from day one this time, and that's something extremely important t me. I want this movie to be something that I'm excited for the fanbase to see."
