However, a new video from Unreal Engine was showcased at the event, and according to The BitBag, it showcases many new games that are currently running on the game engine, which include some of the big upcoming titles like "Final Fantasy VII Remake" and "Kingdom Hearts III," to name a few.

For the eager fans, sadly, this is the closest thing they can get for a new footage of "Final Fantasy VII Remake," and Square Enix has yet to make any new announcement or update regarding the highly anticipated game.

Meanwhile, it has been known for quite some time now that "Final Fantasy VII Remake" will be released in the market in an episodic format.

"With FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, we have the opportunity to go beyond the story, world and experience of FINAL FANTASY VII in ways we've always dreamed of - from the depths of Midgar to the skies above the Planet," game director Yoshinori Kitase said on the official blog post made by SE later last year. "The multi-part format enables us to expand the original story and turn it into an epic experience for fans and new gamers alike."

Many fans of the original game were shocked after hearing this news. However, if SE ever decides to go with a single game, instead of multi-parts, Kitase continued to explain on the blog post that the company might have to resort to cutting some parts of the narrative, and make the IP more condensed.

No word yet, unfortunately, for the release date of "Final Fantasy VII Remake." With that in mind, it is best to just wait for more update coming Square Enix regarding the matter.
