"Fear the Walking Dead," the successful companion series and prequel of "The Walking Dead," will be back on the small screen for its second season a month from now. While the premiere gets closer, a lot of teasers and spoilers have been making rounds online to miantain the hype of the show. Here is the roundup of things that fans can look forward to the upcoming season.

While the show is still off-air, the web-series tie-in of the said show called "Flight 462" has been filling up the gap and has made the wait bearable. Bad news is, there are only three more webisodes to go. Good news is, its finale is just in time for the start of the TV series' second season premiere.

Just recently, the official Facebook page of the show posted a teaser poster for season 2, which seemed like some sort of a countdown. The poster shows a bright orange backdrop of what appears to be a sunset, a ship is seen in the middle ground, and the foreground looks like a troubled sea. The caption also reads: "No. Safe. Harbor. #FearTWD returns in one month." This could mean that the ship is possibly just a temporary sanctuary for the show's main characters.

Showrunner Dave Erickson shared with The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, March 4, about what's going to happen in the upcoming season.

Erickson explained the theme of season 2 which could further explain the poster as well. He said, "One of the big questions thematically is: What is family now? Is it blood or is it bond? We're going to have a group of people, some of whom don't know each other very well — Strand is still an enigma who may or may not have his own agenda and intentions when they get onto the boat."

He added that just like last season, the story will have a good balance of paranoia and anxiety. Also, expect the first few episodes to be drama-filled set on a boat in the middle of the ocean.

"Fear of the Walking Dead" season 2 will premiere on Sunday, April 10, at 9 p.m. on AMC.
